I am having uncomfortable reactions to my malaria medication called Malarone again this morning. This is a pill you start taking two days before entering a malaria zone up until seven days after leaving it. Malaria is a mosquito born infectious disease of humans caused by eukaryotic protisits of the genus Plasmodium. The disease results from the multiplication of malaria parasites within red blood cells, causing symptoms that typically include high fever and headache, n severe cases progressing to coma, and death. Each year 225 million cases of malaria are recorded and around 781,000 deaths occur as a result of that exposure. Last night just as I was leaving dinner I got hit with the profuse sweating, nausea and dizziness, made it to my room but only to the sink. Taking this medication and suffering the side effects well out weights the alternative.... Yes?
Germans drink a lot of beer! This is not me stereo typing, this is an observed fact. I arrived in Germany yesterday to see beer drinkers everywhere. Big Germans drinking big German beers… lots and lots of it. Then again at breakfast there they were, those crazy Germans drinking more beer and lots of it. I am telling you…. I would be missing my flights all day long if I drank beer like a German.
Off to Kolkata!
